SA: SA government announces $500,000 in community grants
The South Australian government has announced $500,000 in grants for community projects
-- among them the funding of lifesaver mannequins and harvest weather meters.
Police and Emergency Services Minister ROBERT BROKENSHIRE says more than 100 community
groups in the state will receive grants for special projects and equipment.
Among other projects to receive funding will be fire safety programs for public housing
tenants and the improvement of marine radio coverage in the state's far west.
